Pile Cutting Machine
Creating Corduroy Wales
Without a wale-cutting machine, there would be no corduroy—a uniquely textured fabric. This machine is the key to transforming greige fabric into finished corduroy.
- Wale Size Control: By adjusting the spacing and cutting position of the slitting knives, wales of varying widths (fine to wide) can be produced, including:
- Extra-fine wales, fine wales, medium wales, coarse wales, wide wales, etc., meeting diverse fashion and application requirements.
2. Enhancing Fabric Quality
- Wale Definition: Precise slitting ensures each wale is cut completely and neatly, resulting in sharp, distinct wale edges.
- Plush Surface Fullness: High-quality slitting allows the pile to stand fully erect, forming a plump, highly lustrous fabric surface.
- Reducing Defects: Eliminates quality issues such as edge fraying, missed cuts, and wale merging (adhesion of two adjacent wales).
3. Adapting to Various Raw Materials and Weave Structures
- Compatible Raw Materials: Suitable for processing greige corduroy fabrics made from various fibers, including cotton, polyester-cotton blends, viscose, and Tencel.
- Versatile Weave Compatibility: Works with greige fabrics woven in different structures (e.g., weft rib weave).
